Terms of sale

These terms govern the sale of a Trace subscription to consumers, anywhere in the world. They apply to every order placed in the application. The French version prevails.

Seller

Trace is published and sold by Louison Ribouchon, acting as an individual. His identity, postal address and contact details are in the legal notice. You can reach him at louison.rib@gmail.com.

The service

Trace is a web application for tracking weight training. The subscription opens session logging, history, analysis and the MCP connector, through which your own AI client reads your training data.

The service runs in an up-to-date web browser and installs as an application on a phone. It requires no particular hardware. Your data remains exportable in a format another tool can read.

Prices

Two plans:

  • monthly: 5.89 € per month;
  • yearly: 46.68 € per year.

Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included. VAT does not apply, the seller being under the French VAT franchise. The price shown is the only amount charged.

Free trial

Every subscription starts with thirty free days. A payment method is requested when you subscribe and no amount is charged during the trial. The confirmation screen shows the date and the amount of the first charge before you order. After thirty days the subscription continues at the price of the plan you chose, unless you cancel before that date.

Ordering

Orders are confirmed on Stripe's secure payment page, which restates the plan, the price, the length of the trial and the date of the first charge. The contract is concluded when you confirm the order, and confirmed by email.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered with Stripe and never pass through Trace. A receipt is issued for every charge.

Duration, renewal and cancellation

The monthly plan has no fixed term and renews every month. The yearly plan runs for twelve months and renews tacitly for twelve months.

You can cancel at any time in the application, from Settings, then Subscription, through the “Cancel subscription” link. A summary lets you check and correct your details, then you confirm with “Confirm cancellation”. Receipt is confirmed by email, with the date the contract ends and the effects of cancellation.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, during which access stays open. No pro-rata refund is due.

Right of withdrawal

You have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without giving a reason and at no cost.

To exercise it, the application provides a free function, from Settings, then Subscription, through the “Withdraw” link, shown with its deadline throughout the withdrawal period. You enter your name, the details identifying your subscription and the email address at which to receive the acknowledgement, then confirm with “Confirm withdrawal”. An acknowledgement is sent to you by email, carrying the content of your declaration, its date and its time.

You may also use the model form below, or any unambiguous statement sent to louison.rib@gmail.com.

The fourteen-day period runs during the free trial, which lasts thirty: a withdrawal therefore costs you nothing. Were an amount nonetheless to have been charged, it would be refunded within fourteen days of receipt of your declaration, using the payment method of the order.

Model withdrawal form

The form below is the model set by French law. It is reproduced in French, the language in which it is prescribed.

Legal guarantee of conformity

Trace is a digital service supplied continuously. The seller answers for defects of conformity that appear throughout the subscription. Where there is a defect, you are entitled to have the service brought into conformity or, failing that, to a price reduction or to rescission of the contract, and you may withhold payment until the seller has met his obligations. These are the rights of articles L. 224-25-12 and following of the French Code de la consommation.

Availability

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. On health and training results, see the medical disclaimer.

End of the subscription

When the subscription expires your training data is kept and access to the application closes. You can request a copy at louison.rib@gmail.com, and subscribe again at any time to get access back. Deleting the account and all of the data remains possible from the settings.

Complaints and mediation

Send any complaint to louison.rib@gmail.com. If the dispute is not settled that way, you may refer it free of charge to a French consumer mediator.

Personal data

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy. Use of the application is governed by the terms of use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you reside in another country, the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence continue to apply to you.

Reproduced articles

Article L. 215-4 of the French Code de la consommation requires the articles below to be reproduced in full in the contract. They appear in French, the language in which they are enacted.

Article L. 215-1
